The history of brass music is came into existence during the eighteenth century. Actually brass instruments are mostly made up of plated metals. There are only very few brass instruments in market which are made up of brass and woods. The two basic types of the instruments are 1) Valved which has a set of valves which can be adjusted by the players to help them in producing the desired tone, and 2) slide in which change in the length of the instrument causes the necessary changes in the output tone.
Brass instrument produces sound proportional to the input from the lips of the player. So the good range of music can be got through this if the player is really good in it. An optional mouthpiece can also be used for players comfort. The musical range can be increased by using valve systems at the bottom of the instrument. These instruments are used along with many other musical instruments in orchestral or as own also. French horns, Trumpet, Trombone, and Tuba are some of the Brass instruments presently used by across the world.
